Our Story

Founded in New York in 2021, Qui Amet is a studio devoted to scent, ceramics and the quiet rituals of everyday life. We create Small-Batch and Bespoke Fragrances, Scented Candles and handcrafted Ceramic Objects designed to bring atmosphere, emotion and lasting beauty into the spaces we inhabit.

We believe fragrance has the power to transform a place without words. A perfume becomes part of a memory. A candle changes the mood of a room. A handcrafted object acquires meaning through daily use. Together, they create spaces that feel personal, intimate and enduring.

Our ceramic candle vessels are designed to be refilled rather than discarded. Once a candle has burned through, the object remains ready to hold a new fragrance. Sustainability, for us, begins with creating objects worth keeping.

Our name, Qui Amet, translates from Latin as “the one who loves.” It expresses our belief that beauty is an act of care for ourselves, for others, and for the objects we choose to live with.
